Leadership

The four people behind Saga.

Saga is a founder-led company. When you engage with us, you're talking to one of the four of us.

Walker Willis

Walker Willis

Co-Founder & CEO

10+ yrs in renewable energy

Walker is Saga's chief executive. He is an electrical engineer by training and has spent his career on the planning and delivery side of large utility-scale renewable energy projects. From 1 GW+ solar and battery storage projects in California to neighborhood solar gardens in Colorado, he's helped make the engineering and management decisions that have reshaped our communities. He leads Saga's overall business strategy and day-to-day operations.

Marcus Lively

Marcus Lively

Co-Founder & CDO

10+ yrs in community + utility solar

Marcus runs development at Saga. He has spent a decade in the solar industry, as a division manager and director of project management overseeing numerous projects through to construction. He brings a particular depth of knowledge in community solar and the landowner relationships that subscriber programs depend on. He has stood up community-solar projects across the country and knows what it takes to make a project successful.

David Nocella

David Nocella

Co-Founder & CFO

10+ yrs in renewable energy

David is Saga's chief financial officer. Over the past ten-plus years in renewable energy he has managed the planning, development, and construction of more than 6 GW of utility-scale wind projects across the US. From origination through to operations, he has been there to make sure projects get built safely, on budget, and on schedule. At Saga he manages the company finances, capital strategy, client relations, and the financial posture of every project we develop.

Logan Bell

Logan Bell

Co-Founder & COO

10+ yrs in utility wind

Logan is Saga's chief operations officer and manages development activities for each of our projects. With a decade of utility-scale wind energy experience, he has helped contribute more than 1 GW of generation to the US grid. From negotiating land leases and obtaining permits to overseeing commissioning and energization, he's done it all. If a Saga project is in development, Logan is the one who has read the contract twice and who you'll likely meet at your local county commissioners meeting.

Prior-life work

Gigawatts of clean energy have been deployed by our team, at prior companies, over the past decade. Our previous companies include Clearway Energy Group, Terra-Gen, Scout Clean Energy, Pivot Energy, and Mortenson Construction. Those projects laid the foundation for everything we do at Saga, and the experience is real.
